USE:
We use comparative adjectives to compare two objects.

STRUCTURE:

We add -er to the end of one syllable adjectives
big - bigger, old, older

We use "than" after comparative adjectives.

Your dog is smaller than my dog.
I am taller than you.

We use "more" or "less" for adjectives that have three or more syllabes:
honest - more honest, careful - more careful

My dog is more beautiful than your dog.
My dog is more faithful than your dog.
